Ranger Mobile Sort Robot...

Designed to autonomously pre-sort parcels for dispatch.

Ranger Mobile Sort Robot is a modular system of independent carrier robot platforms that can receive an item, transport and deliver it to despatch or any other point.

  • Designed to autonomously pre-sort parcels for dispatch, even with limited space.
  • It is best suited to eCommerce and logistics players experiencing rapid business changes.
  • Ranger Mobile Sort is scalable so you can flex up or down with order peaks and lulls.
  • Operating costs can be reduced during lean periods by running only the required number of robots.

Pick & Put to Light Systems...

Systems that deliver fast and error free sortation through digital recognition

Pick & Put-to-Light (P&PTL) systems are based on a SMART shelf edge or mounted device that stores and displays data. They can control and monitor put – away, picking and sorting.

  • Picking and replenishment processes account for up to 70% of operating costs in a warehouse and remain a top priority for warehouse management.
  • Industries increasingly rely on innovative sortation solutions like P&PTL as they continue to reduce pick and fill costs and increase worker efficiency and productivity.
  • P&PTL systems improve operator’s productivity and they enhance efficiency. The system directs and controls the warehouse operative in the picking, put - away, and sorting processes.
  • They minimise operator errors, speed up restocking, returns and order processing, whilst improving overall productivity.
  • The integration of P&PTL systems, with the user's software solution (WMS or ERP), is quick and straightforward.

Sortation is an integral part of any robotic warehouse or distribution handling solution...

Ranger Mobile Sort

Ranger Mobile Sort can easily adapt to most layouts. The bots can be easily moved and deployed across multiple locations in time with order volumes and regional peaks. This can significantly reduce investment levels. Powered by GreyMatter this robot uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to take high yield decisions, deliver higher throughput and ensure error-free sortation.

Ranger Mobile Sort can handle a variety of parcels such as polybags, packets  including plastic packets, non-boxed items and thin parcels. It improves the sorting accuracy and decreases the cost per shipment

  • Throughput configurations - Up to 12,000 PPH (Parcels Per Hour).
  • Parcel weights - up to 77 lbs (35Kgs).
  • Provides integrated dimensioning, weighing and scanning.
  • Individual and automatic battery charging using parking stations.
  • Fulfillment Operating System - powered by GreyMatter software.
  • Parcel versatility - non-boxed parcels, polybags, envelopes, cartons and cases.

Pick & Put to Light Systems (P&PTL)

In this system the software and shelf edge or bay mounted visual display units guide the operator or robot to where the stock needs to be placed. Afterwards it also guides the picker to where the items are that make up each order. Each location assigned to a product will have an associated mounted luminous display. Sorting is performed on an item-by-item basis.

P&PTL is a simple three stage process:

After identifying an item for a “searcher”, the displays will visually show the operator, or robot, the locations where an item needs to be stored (Put) and records data such as the new quantity that should be in that location.

The P&PTL solutions are used to allocate items to specific locations. The system tracks items from goods inwards containers or from pre-sorted deliveries and tracks them being deposited in their correct location.

“Orders” for items are received and then matched to their stock location. Staff, or robots then collect (Pick) up that item, along with any others and “deliver” it to despatch or an end user.

The P&PTL solution leads to a number of benefits:

  • A reduction in the general operating costs of logistics.
  • Inventory is updated, thanks to direct communication with the warehouse management system, reducing stock shrinkage and improving stock control.
  • There is an increase in the number of orders picked per day due to reductions in wasted search time.
  • It offers task and manning flexibility due to simplified and guided systems.
  • The short system learning time means faster new staff integration.
